California Phone-Free Schools Act Panel
Beginning July 1, AB 3216 goes into effect and every public school district in California will be required to adopt a phone-free school policy. A new bill, AB 1644 - The Phone-Free Schools Act, has also been proposed to strengthen these policies by requiring bell-to-bell restrictions on student cell phone use during the school day.
