Private Consultations
ScreenSense provides parents and caregivers support to set up devices and boundaries at home to keep tech in check.
Feeling overwhelmed with managing screen time at home? You are not alone.
Whether you're setting up a first phone for your child, configuring Screen Time for Apple, Google, or Windows platforms, establishing WiFi downtime, or locking down a device to just calls and texts, it helps to have a caring voice to help cut through the overwhelm. Sometimes having an experienced guide, who understands all the nuances, can make all the difference and help you feel more empowered to set up the guardrails and boundaries needed for healthier tech use at home.
Rebekah Cunningham, Director of Technology at ScreenSense, offers personalized consulting services, either in-person (Marin County) or virtually, for parents who want expert guidance in managing technology at home. She works one-on-one with families through their unique challenges to create a tech-positive environment that reflects your values, supports healthier habits, and reduces daily tech-related stress.
“Our session with Rebekah was invaluable. We would never have been able to navigate this process independently, and we highly recommend this coaching program to anyone with a child with a phone. It is never too late to create a safe digital environment for your child”
Tech topics Rebekah can cover during her personalized sessions with parents and caregivers:
Setting up Simple iPhone with Talk & Text only
Setting up Apple Screentime controls
Managing several devices with different controls and needs
Establishing tech boundaries that are aligned with your family values
“Rebekah was an absolute joy to work with and an incredible resource in helping our family navigate the complicated world of parental controls and online safety. She walked me through all of our devices, helped us put the right safeguards in place, and made what had felt completely overwhelming feel manageable and straightforward. I came away feeling so much more informed—and, most importantly, with real peace of mind knowing our devices were set up safely and intentionally for our children.””

Lunch & Learns
Another way to connect with Rebekah is to attend our monthly Lunch & Learn events. These are casual, bite-sized sessions on a specific topic: think iPhones, tablets, texting, smartwatches, landlines and sleep. The everyday tech topics parents often have questions about!
Each session features a focused 15–20 minute presentation, followed by plenty of time for open Q&A. Rebekah is able to answer questions and concerns in this open community approach.
We offer Lunch & Learns every month and the schedule can be found on our events calendar. Pre-registration is required and we do not record these presentations. Space is limited to 20 participants to keep the conversation personal and interactive. To keep this valuable resource accessible to everyone, we do not charge but ask for a donation to support our work. Recommended donation to attend Lunch & Learn sessions is $25.
